HighPoint intros RocketRAID 4311 controller for Mac Pro

HighPoint Technologies introduced the RocketRAID 4311, a PCI-Express x8 SAS RAID controller. The controller offers an Intel IOP348 processor, 256MB of DDR-II memory, a single external SFF-8088 connector that supports up to four SAS/SATA hard drives or up to 128 devices through SAS expanders, TerabyteGuard for data protection and reliability, and support for RAID 0,1,5,10 and JBOD. The RocketRAID 4311 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 and above and supports booting to Mac OS X.
