About MacMynd
MacMynd is a great source for tracking interesting developments in the Macintosh, Apple, computers and gadget markets. The site publishes dozens of news stories, related links, tips and troubleshooting ideas. We don’t publish everything we see; we filter out the crapware and present just the interesting stuff.
As I’m also interested in digital photography, I’ll be posting about photo gear when new and interesting things get released.
If you find this site of interest, please share with others so we can grow. You can link to other sites with the “Share” link below articles.

I use the Mac (G5) for work on this website and personal work, I also have Windows based systems in the household. Being a geek at heart, I’m into most gadgets. Whether it’s computers, audio/video or photographic, I don’t discriminate because of brand or operating system. I love it all.

My affiliates
I only signed up with companies that I’ve personally dealt with and been extremely happy with.
I have personally used SmugMug for over 5 years and would recommend it to anyone (and have many times). They have never let me down or lost any images like others I have used..Don’t get me started:)
More than 300,000 paying customers. 528,565,929 photos and counting. No ads or spam, and gorgeous galleries. Sign up for a free trial today, and support this site at the same time.
I have shopped over 10 years with Amazon, and have not once had a problem. Prices are always lower than I can get locally. If I don’t buy it here, I get it from Onecall.
I have been a customer of OneCall of Spokane Washington for over 12 years. They have been in business for over 100 years now. Yes, that was not a misprint, 100 years. I have purchased everything from cameras and lenses to blu-ray players and only once returned something (not happy with daughters Nikon camera) which they took back without blinking. Best of the best.
Thank you,
Jon Arnason
P.S.
Of course I’m not too proud to beg for donations either. Until advertising or affiliates pay the monthly costs for this site, I would accept all donations.
